Who handles the data
Borghi Fantasma is a personal project by Alfredo Matano. For any question about your data, write to geochiosco@gmail.com.
In short
The site has no accounts and sets no cookies of its own. Google AdSense ads may use cookies, including for personalised ads, only with your consent: see «Advertising».
Hosting and statistics
The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), which processes the technical data needed to deliver and protect the pages, such as IP address, browser and requested page. Visit statistics use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not follow visitors across sites.
Photos, maps and fonts
Photos are loaded from Wikimedia Commons and maps from OpenStreetMap and cdnjs (Cloudflare): your browser connects to their servers, which receive your IP address. Wikimedia may set its own technical cookies. Fonts are hosted on this site.
Spettro, the chat guide
If you write to Spettro, your message and the page you write from are sent to the owner's n8n server, which uses Anthropic's Claude model (United States) to answer. No account is needed: please do not write personal data in the chat. Messages stay in the n8n server's history for as long as needed to check that the service works. Spettro is only available while that server is on.
Reports
If you send a report, the form data (village, access, month of the visit, notes and any link) are saved in the «Segnalazioni visitatori» table on the owner's n8n server and used only to update the atlas.
Affiliate links
Links to Booking.com are affiliate links: if you book, the site earns a commission. On this site those links set no cookies; Booking.com may use cookies on its own site after you click, according to their policies.
Advertising
The site shows Google AdSense ads. Google may use cookies to show and measure ads only with the consent you give in the banner, which you can change at any time. With AdSense, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this or other websites. How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data by writing to geochiosco@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
